The Earth Day Event, directly under The Earth Day Network has been successfully organized by Green Talk (UNESCO-CEP) at Anh Sao (Starlight) Bridge, Phu My Hung, District 7 on April 20^th. Earth Day is annually held to raise people’s awareness of the values of natural environment. Moreover, it is also an occasion for people to set aside their daily work to contemplate and act for the future.

On the theme of “A day for Vietnam”, the event gives special emphasis on activities such as “Flashmob to call 50000 fingerprints committing to a non-littering day”, environmental “Marathon Photo Contest” and “Green Stalls” besides its traditional Green Hour activities.

It would not be possible to have a successful Green Day Event without the companion and contribution of Bridgestone Vietnam. With the motto “serve society with superior quality”, Bridgestone not only points out its aspirations for environment but also carries out 3 main strategies about environment: preserving ecology, natural resources and reducing carbon emission to build a sustainable society. We would like to send our deep and heartfelt thanks for Bridgestone’s companionship lately, as well as the enterprise’s attention to ecological environment where we live.
