Green Run – Water God Rescue continues to be an amazing race in Vietnamese Earth Day 2016. Earth Day program (Green Hour project) is carried out by SECC/center for skilled education and community communication cooperating with Earth Day World and Bridgestone Corporation, and the third participation of Phu My Hung Development Corporation. This program occurs on 17^th April 2016 at Tan Trao Street (behind SECC exhibition center on Nguyen Luong Bang Street), Phu My Hung, District 7, Ho Chi Minh city.

The program this year occurs on the same day with Hung King commemoration and it is promised to be an attractive activity. So why don’t you take part in Green Run then you will have a long holiday on 30^th of April after that?

Do you remember the unique race of Vietnamese Earth Day “Green Run – Amazing Race” in 2015? The delighted race that made horse racers put up all barricades like crossing a mountain, crossing the river and creeping a hole then reached the finish line impressively. And this year, that race came back more attractively. We hope to bring much happiness to participants among 3 teams rescuing Water God throughout the race: Mekong River, Nike River and Amazon River.

With a slogan “reserving green rivers for merry life”, Green Run – Water God Rescue is a chapter of a meaningful story about a water source. The enjoyable race aims to protect Water God of Nile, Mekong and Amazon River, which symbolizes for well-known rivers in the world. Moreover, Mekong River has a meaning related to Vietnam. Participants have to put up water-related barricades. Nearly 3000 participants are divided into 3 teams to simultaneously run, attack and protect the water source. Especially, participants will know a surprising thing at the end of the race road.

Water God of three teams will be three special people of Vietnamese Earth Day program 2016. Who are they? The secret will be revealed in Phu My Hung from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on 17^th April 2016. Our race welcomes all of you including foreigners who live and work in Vietnam.

After the race, there is a wonderful Crazy Dance performed by Toc Tien and 1000 other people!

If you are a big fan of reality TV show “Running Man” and you wish to become a real runner, “Green Run” will satisfy you. Participants can use water gun to attack Water God and distract descendants of Water God.

Gathering time: 4:30 p.m. (participants receive T-shirt before 4 p.m.)

Deadline for offline register: 6 p.m. on 14^th April 2015 (it may be closed sooner when running out)

Giving T-shirt of program (remember to bring reservation ticket when receiving T-shirt). It will be given on two days:

• Thursday on 14^th April at 32/34 Nguyen Cuu Van Street, Binh Thanh District from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Or 17^th April from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Tan Trao Street, Phu My Hung, District 7.

Specially, for those who take part in Flashmob team: you will be given freely a ticket and can register directly for another person when practicing Flashmob on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday every week in Ton Duc Thang University – District 7.

Rules:

• All participants are divided into 3 teams, each team will have 1 Water God, each god names after a river: Mekong, Amazon or Nile.
• Team 1: team of Mekong Water God
• Team 2: team of Amazon Water God
• Team 3: team of Nile Water God

Water God together with main members of teams will keep a bottle of magic water without a lid.

• When running, all teams have to put up all barricades on the race road.
• At the same time, participants have to attack Water God of the other teams by water guns. Each team will be given 10 water guns (or participants can bring extra guns when playing, there are some places for you to fill water on the race road).

Rules to get points depending 3 factors:

• Orders of teams when finishing the race (counted until the last member of a team reaches the finish line)
• Which team can protect their Water God better? When Water God is shot at weak point on their chest, it will change color.
• The team that can bring magic water to the finish line first will be the winner of Water God term. Toc Tien will give Water God magic water to filter clean water to remove dirty water.

4 runners who finishes the race first (2 boys, 2 girls) will receive a bag (costs 500.000 VND) and a pack of pure water Vinh Hao (costs 100.000 VND)

All members of the winner will receive many other attractive gifts from us.

Note: participants only receive participation certificate on Vietnamese Earth Day 2016 when they perform Flashmob.

After finishing the race, runners can take part in Crazy Dance with Toc Tien and dance free style following guide clip: the song “tomorrow”.
